This college group project presented the challenge of crafting a brand for an upcoming technology summit for artists, teachers, and students. Rather than focusing on the modern and clean look technology is typically associated with, the direction instead hearkened back to the early days of computer technology. Assets such as exposed circuitry and a serif font were chosen to evoke a sense of history within the event, and to remind attendees just how far both technology and this summit have come. The goal was to promote this summit as an event that has stood the test of time and as something that continues to serve as a major source for technological innovation.
Badges and pamphlets were designed to look as though they were exposed computer chips being handed out to event attendees.
